Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I get on the boat?

Pick up location depends on the charter selected, day of the week and time. All pick ups are made at a central location in Jupiter or Juno. You will be notified of the pick up location in the confirmation and reminder emails. Please note: we will arrive 5-10 min prior to your scheduled time, if you will arrive late, please let us know.

Are your charters public or private?

All charters must be booked in advance and are private for you and up to 5 guests (6 total).

How many people can I bring with me?

The USCG regulations limit the number of passengers on our charters, hosted by Captain Peggy, to 6 – this includes adults, children and infants.

If you have 7-9 guests we now offer the option for a “Bareboat Charter”. You will be required to sign a Bareboat Charter Agreement and pay for the boat and captain separately. We have a list of qualified captains and are happy to arrange all of the details like usual. There is an additional $65 per person for the 7-9th guests. Please call us at 561-406-9080 or Contact Us to arrange.

How long will we be on the boat?

That depends on you! Our charters are booked in hourly increments, with a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 6 hours.

Can we stay out longer than we originally booked?

We completely understand that you will be having more fun than anticipated and want to stay out longer! Our ability to accommodate your request will depend on the schedule for the remainder of the day and payment for the added time.

Can I bring my dog on the boat?

Well behaved dog(s) are always welcome on our pontoon charters. Dogs must remain leashed while the boat is underway and we ask that you keep them off of the furniture. Owner is responsible for any damage that may occur and we ask that you be prepared to clean up after your dog. Let us know ahead of time and we will be certain to have extra water on hand!

Can I bring food and drinks on the boat?

Absolutely! There is a cooler on board for your use and ice will be provided upon request (1 -7lb. bag). Adult beverages are allowed however we ask that all guests drink responsibly. Glass is generally a risky option on a boat, please avoid if possible.

What if I need to cancel?

Charters canceled 15 days in advance will be able to choose between a full refund or a credit towards a future charter. For cancellations made less than 15 days in advance, customers will receive a credit towards a future charter; no refunds will be provided.

What if it rains?

We aren’t scared of a little rain! It’s common, especially in the summer months, to experience fast moving rain showers and unless the forecast calls for steady rain all day long, we generally don’t worry about it. The Captain is always checking the weather to ensure that conditions are safe and enjoyable for our guests. In the event that a charter is canceled due to weather, we will work to reschedule the charter or issue a refund for our out of town guests.

Are children allowed on the boat?

Yes, children are allowed on our pontoon boat charters. Children and infants DO count towards the 6-passenger limit.

Please note: Florida law requires that children under the age of 6 wear a USCG-approved Type I, II or III floatation device while the boat is underway. We have flotation devices rated for children that weigh over 30 pounds. If your child weighs less than 30 pounds, you will need to bring the correct size life vest for them to wear.

What should I bring?

Here is a list of items you may want to consider bringing:

  • Sunscreen lotion – we request that you leave the aerosols at home as they have the tendency to get all over the captain and the boat
  • Beach towel
  • Food & drinks
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Mask & snorkel
  • Camera
Is there shade on the boat?

Our pontoon is equipped with a double bimini that covers 15′ of the boat’s interior so finding a shady spot to sit should not be a problem!

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

There is no bathroom on the boat however there are public restrooms available at our pick up and drop off location.
