WHAT CAN WE DO AT PEANUT ISLAND?
Once we arrive, you can swim, snorkel, relax along the shoreline or explore the island’s walking paths. Because your charter is private, you can spend your time doing whatever your group enjoys most.
HOW LONG SHOULD WE BOOK FOR A PEANUT ISLAND CHARTER?
Peanut Island is approximately 1.25 hours by boat each way from Jupiter. A 4-hour charter works well for many guests, with time to enjoy the scenic cruise and spend time swimming or relaxing at the island. Choose 5 or 6 hours for a more leisurely day with additional time to swim, snorkel and explore. Having too much fun to leave? Same-day extensions are often available—just ask Captain Peggy while you’re aboard.
DO WE NEED TO BRING SNORKEL GEAR?
Yes. If you plan to snorkel, please bring your own mask and snorkel gear. We provide deluxe pool noodles, a floating water mat and a cooler with ice for your time on the water.
IS THE peanut island CHARTER PRIVATE?
Yes. Your charter is completely private, so it’s just your group and Captain Peggy aboard.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN JOIN A Peanut Island CHARTER?
Our standard private charters accommodate up to 6 guests. Have a group of 7–10? Larger groups can be accommodated through our Bareboat Charter option. Call or text Captain Peggy at 561-406-9080 and we’ll help coordinate the details.
IS PEANUT ISLAND GOOD FOR FAMILIES?
Absolutely. Peanut Island is a great choice for families and multigenerational groups because everyone can enjoy the day at their own pace. Swim, snorkel, explore the shoreline or simply relax aboard while others enjoy the water.
Can we bring food and drinks aboard?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks aboard. A cooler with ice is provided for your convenience, so you can bring your favorite beverages and snacks and enjoy them during the cruise.
Where does the Peanut Island Charter depart from?
The Peanut Island Charter departs from Waterway Park, 3630 E Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL. A convenient floating dock makes boarding easy, with a simple step on and off the boat. Detailed directions and arrival information are provided with your booking.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Peggy keeps a close eye on local weather and boating conditions. If weather makes it unsafe or impractical to go out, we’ll work with you to reschedule your tour or discuss the available options. Florida weather can change quickly, so decisions are made with both safety and your experience in mind.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Peanut Island charters require a larger block of time than our shorter cruises, so advance booking is recommended—especially during our busy spring season.
