WHAT TIME DOES THE SUNSET CRUISE DEPART?
Departure times change throughout the year to coordinate with sunset. Your available departure time will be shown when booking so your cruise is timed to enjoy golden hour and sunset on the water.
can we time our cruise to see the moonrise
On select evenings around the full moon, a later departure may allow you to enjoy sunset followed by moonrise over the water. Moonrise times vary throughout the year, so contact Captain Peggy before booking if you’d like to plan your cruise around both.
HOW LONG IS THE SUNSET CRUISE?
The Sunset Cruise is approximately two hours, giving you plenty of time to relax, enjoy the scenery and watch the colors change as the sun goes down.
IS THE SUNSET CRUISE PRIVATE?
Yes. Your Sunset Cruise is completely private, so it’s just your group and Captain Peggy aboard. You’ll have the boat to yourselves for a relaxed, personalized evening on the water.
IS THE SUNSET CRUISE JUST FOR COUPLES?
Not at all. While sunset cruises are wonderful for couples and special occasions, they’re also a favorite for families, friends and multigenerational groups looking for a relaxing way to end the day in Jupiter.
WHAT WILL WE SEE DURING THE CRUISE?
Your route may include views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, waterfront homes, the Intracoastal Waterway and Jupiter’s beautiful shoreline. The scenery takes on an entirely different feel during golden hour and sunset.
How many guests can join the sunset cruise
Our standard private charters accommodate up to 6 guests. Have a group of 7–10? Larger groups can be accommodated through our Bareboat Charter option. Call or text Captain Peggy at 561-406-9080 and we’ll help coordinate the details.
Can we bring food and drinks aboard?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks aboard. A cooler with ice is provided for your convenience, so you can bring your favorite beverages and snacks and enjoy them during the cruise.
Where does the Sunset Cruise depart from?
The Sunset Cruise departs from Waterway Park, 3630 E Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL. A convenient floating dock makes boarding easy, with a simple step on and off the boat. Detailed directions and arrival information are provided with your booking.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Peggy keeps a close eye on local weather and boating conditions. If weather makes it unsafe or impractical to go out, we’ll work with you to reschedule your tour or discuss the available options. Florida weather can change quickly, so decisions are made with both safety and your experience in mind.
